It’s relatively quite impossible to pester your entire network of friends around the world to check whether your blog or website is accessible in their countries or not on a frequent basis. Follow Your Twitter Feeds In A 3D Manner by Twitt3D
In order to read the updates, you would have to navigate around using your mouse, spacebar and (up, down, left & right) arrow keys. You can also see which of your friends have more followers based on the spatial layout of their tweets. Although the experience is pretty wonderful and interesting, but I personally find it hard to click around and view them in a decent manner.

How To Insert Images InGmail - New Feature Enabled. - Tech News

Now Gmail users would be able to insert image into email. The feature can be enabled via the Labs tab in the Gmail.
At the same time Google today continued its nearly one-a-day roll out of new features.
Users can either upload images from their computers or paste in an image URL. Of course Gmail doesn’t display images from URLs, so other Gmail users will have to click “Display images below” or “Always display images from …” to see them.
Once enabled, an image icon will sit in the toolbar when the rich formatting mode is turned on.
Google introduced the feature with a blog post that begins, “Well, it’s about time.”

Incoming And Outgoing SMTP Mail Servers Of All The Email Services
Hotmail Settings
As other web based email services, Hotmail is using the HTTP protocol for connecting you to your mailbox. If you want to send and receive Hotmail emails using an email client software, then your software must support Hotmail HTTP access for your email account. Some email clients, such as Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook, offer builtin support for Hotmail accounts, so you only have to select HTTP when you are asked to select your email account type and select Hotmail as the HTTP Mail Service Provider.
Yahoo! Mail Settings
Unlike Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail offers standard POP3 access for receiving emails incoming through your Yahoo mailbox, by using your favorite email client software. To setup your email client for working with your Yahoo account, you need to select the POP3 protocol and use the following mail server settings:
Yahoo Incoming Mail Server (POP3) - pop.mail.yahoo.com (port 110)
Yahoo Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) - smtp.mail.yahoo.com (port 25)
Google GMail Settings
The Google GMail service offers email client access for retrieving and sending emails through your Gmail account. However, for security reasons, GMail uses POP3 over an SSL connection, so make sure your email client supports encrypted SSL connections.

Ever wish, when you were watching a program of sports (any sports competition) on television, that when you started shouting at the screen when the action in the program was going dreadfully wrong, it could be shared with other like minded, opinionated nuts just like yourself?
It would have been great this last weekend, for example, to vent when EJ Viso bumped with Robert Doornbos and Ryan Hunter-Reay and all three cars had to retire to the pits (Doornbos was able to return and gain a point in his rookie of the year quest) from the Iowa Corn Indy 250 presented by Pioneer, and ask - Hey, EJ, why can't YOU finish a race?, and - Why did you have to damage the chances of the field of five (that's right, only five in Iowa) Transition Players entered in this race (so much for the merger - Viso, Doornbos, Moraes, Wilson, and Rahal - only Rahal was running at the end, five laps off of the pace at 11th position)? - See?
Well there is a program of sports psychosis on VERSUS TV (check cable or satellite for listing and will air regularly on Tuesday nights at 10:30 p.m. ET, beginning June 16) headed up by Zach Selwyn named FANARCHY. Selwyn is uniquely qualified to host this program because he beat out a potential crowd of over 20,000 in his effort to appear on the first season of the ESPN's reality show Dream Job. Selwyn debuted on the show in its second episode back on February 29, 2004. He went on to finish third - Tony Kornheiser later apologized for not picking Selwyn to actually be on his popular show "Pardon the Interruption" and admitted he had made a mistake leaving him at third place.
FANARCHY is a show by the fans for the fans, bringing the robust online world of sports banter to life on television. Each FANARCHY episode will feature seven very opinionated sports fans appearing on-air via their personal webcams (in a kind of a Brady Bunch face-box grid layout). From on-the-field and off-the-field athlete/star antics and bogus referee calls to what they, the fans, would’ve done if they were the athlete, coach or owner. FANARCHY guests will be giving their unvarnished take on anything and everything from the outrageous and controversial to what might be currently happening in sports in a frenzied back-and-forth style.
Think of it as kind'a a Best Damn Sports Show ... without all the basketball, comedy, and professional announcer drive-by stars and guest hosting ... after all, FANARCHY features you, the fan, and that can't be all bad, can it? OK, OK, OK, we will at least have Zach Selwyn to bail us all out ... with a song, maybe. Did you know he was also an accomplished band leader and musician?
Now is the time for Zach to bump us out with a tune! Queue the band ... fade to black.

3 Ways a Twitter Hack Can Hurt You - Just Check Out, Its Scary
"It appears someone gained access to the tools Twitter uses to control its millions of accounts," explained Graham Cluley, a senior technology consultant at security firm Sophos PLC. "Internal tools used by the tech support team were compromised. It's not clear if it was an inside job, or outside hacker. Twitter does say they think it was an individual."
The hack, according to Cluley, is much more serious than the earlier phishing attack because it was compromise of the system that potentially exposed all Twitter users to the following dangers.
Fraudalent password use If you gain access to someone's Twitter account, you might be able to gain access to their password, said Cluley.
"We know that 41 percent of people admit to using the same password on every web site and account that they access," he said.
Hackers, while gaining access to something seemingly simply like a username and password to one account may very well be able to use the information to gain access to more important information, such as your bank account.
Malware Infection Twitter officials said 33 accounts had been attacked in the latest hack, including high-profile users such as Britney Spears and Barack Obama. The hackers used their temporary access to send offensive messages. CNN journalist Rick Sanchez found his account had been hacked with a message that read "i am high on crack right now might not be coming to work today."
The damage could have been much worse, said Cluley, if the hacker had decided to take a different approach.
"Imagine if instead, in the case of Britney Spears account for example, that the hacker had posted a link that said: 'Here's my new video. Click on this link.' Imagine how many people would have clicked on that and it could have pointed to malware? And Barack Obama is one of the most followed people on Twitter. If he said: 'I've just made a new speech. Check it out.' a lot of people would click on that link and get infected."
Identity theft Much like with Facebook and other Web 2.0 tools, it is always possible people are sharing too much information, said Cluley, which could be useful for the purpose of identity theft or other illegal activity.
"Imagine you have fraudulent access to an account and you have ex you are stalking? There may be information up there you don't want people to have."
Cluley said ultimately this news begs the question of why weren't Twitter systems more secure and what are the implications for the company.
"Some people are saying this ruins Twitter," said Cluley. "Twitter had been looking for a business model, a way to make money, and now that is no longer viable, according to some criticism. But I would say if that were the case, then e-mail and web sites would be no longer viable either. People are still going to carry on using Twitter. Twitter is becoming an enormous success story. This really is the first big headache they've had. But it's an appalling start of the year for them on the security side."

Dell is developing pocket Web gadget - A Report From Reiters
The gadget would run on Google Inc's Android software, the people told the paper.
According to the paper, two people who saw early prototypes described the device as slightly larger than Apple Inc's iPod Touch, which is similar to the iPhone but does not have cellphone capabilities.
Another person who was briefed on the company's plans told the paper that Dell may begin selling the device later this year, though this person said the plan could be delayed or scrapped entirely.
A Dell spokesman declined to comment to the paper on any plans for the product category.
Dell may use chips based on designed licensed from ARM Holdings PLC, people familiar with the company's plans told the paper.

After inputting information about yourself, you can describe your issue on the site. It's then filed with the Better Business Bureau and investigated.

The site provides you with a search field to find all of your elected representatives. You can also check out your elected representatives' voting records on the site. It's a great way to find all the means of communication you need to have your voice heard in the political process.

When you're wronged by an organization, you need only to file a report on the site describing the injustice. It then enters the public forum, so other users can comment, add their own horror stories, and help you get the word out about your complaint. The beauty of Ripoff Report is that it also gives companies the opportunity to rebut any issues raised by customers. It's a really nice give-and-take that's worth checking out.

Computer Virus Strikes Facebook Users-Blair Simmons
This time, it's hitting Facebook users and locking up their entire PC system.
The virus has the ability to get hold of every file on your computer, from y our email address book to your banking information, all by making one single click.
It's called the Koobface virus, and Glenn Clute says it's been circulating since 2008.
This is actually the 28th variant of the same virus, and it's extremely infectious.
Computer specialist Glenn Clute says, "It's almost like anti-virus programs look at it as like a program that's installing - so the anti-virus programs seem to let it go and from that point on it takes over the system and can even turn off some anti-virus and disable them."
Since it's been around, Clute sees up to a dozen cases of the virus a week, like John Clampitt's computer.
Clampitt says, "I've had a lot of little viruses over the years, but never anything quite like this. It shut my entire system down.'
Here's how it happened to Clampitt- a friend sent him a video on Facebook that he just couldn't resist checking out.
Clampitt says, "I received an email that had a "hilarious video" that i was a part of - so I couldn't help the temptation."
But when he clicked on it, it wouldn't open, and locked up his entire system.
Clampitt says, "The most scary was the fear of having lost everything in my computer because I've never had a major virus... very alarming."
Clute says once you've clicked on the fatal link, the virus basically turns your computer into a zombie... infecting all of your files, recording every keystroke, and even gaining remote access to your computer.
So it infects your files, then spreads to your Facebook friends, filling their inboxes with the same enticing video message.

Jackson virus and spam spreads on Internet --- Be Aware
San Francisco, July 3 (DPA) Security researchers warned Thursday of the increasing levels of viruses and spam using Jackson's name to snare unsuspecting users.
One e-mail carries the subject line 'Remembering Michael Jackson' was circulating with a worm in tow. The e-mail has a zip file attached that infects victims if downloaded.
'The e-mail, which claims to come from sarah@michaeljackson.com, says that the attached ZIP file contains secret songs and photos of Michael Jackson,' Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, wrote on a blog. 'However, the reality is that opening the attachment exposes you to infection - and if your computer is hit you
will be spreading the worm onto other Internet users.'
Cluley said that the malware also spreads via USB memory sticks. Another e-mail promises an exclusive look at a YouTube video of the 'last work of Michael Jackson,' but instead installs a malicious program that steals passwords.
